You could feel the magic in air on November 9th, when 256 guests gathered at The Crystal Plaza in Livingston for the 13th Annual Magic of Muhlenberg Gala. A true "Muhlenberg Family Affair," the Gala is sponsored by the Muhlenberg Auxiliary, the Muhlenberg Foundation and Muhlenberg's Medical and Dental Staff.
With the help of a terrific volunteer committee, co-chairs Jean Badalamenti and Beverly Howard, R.N., worked together to raise over $97,000 for the hospital, which will benefit Anesthesia Services.
This year's well-deserving honorees were Sodexho Health Care Services, presented with the Elvira Kenyon Award for Corporate Service, and Muhlenberg's own, Gerardo Salazar, M.D., Director, Central Jersey Pathology Consultants, P.A., who was presented with the Betty Keating Award for Individual Service.
The festivities began with a sumptuous cocktail hour and silent auction preview, followed by an Awards Program, dinner, dancing and 50/50 cash raffle ~ all of which wrapped up around midnight.
